and they wound up here...”

The brains should have blown up, like mixing bleach and ammonia. Instead, something almost magical happened. Meet Mike O’Connor, multidisciplinary problem solver.

“A multi-what,” you ask?

Mike gets results while defying traditional labels and definitions. CIO, COO, CFO and even CI&O&FO don’t adequately define Mike’s credentials. No, to get an idea of his imaginative problem solving abilities, think of him as a part-time CxO, C?O or even CJO.

How’s a guy earn a title like that?  Thusly: he co-founded gofast.net, a St. Paul-based ISP. He served as a CIO at both Control Data Corporation and ETA Systems. He consulted for Coopers and Lybrand and Andersen Consulting.  And worked as the AVP Finance, Controller and CIO at the University of Minnesota. He served as the volunteer Y2K Boss for the City of St Paul back in the days when Y2K didn’t look like a no-brainer.
